We Had a very pleasant stay. The owners are helpful and friendly. They even met my wife and I at the ferry and took us by car the the hostel. The room was en suit with air con and tv and so quiet at night!! Its just minutes from the old city and port, very convenient. We would certainly recomend this hostel

Great location extremely nice staff (who live upstairs...one big family). Place is a bit shabby but very clean and well maintained. A little hard to find if you don't know Split, so get the map first!

Vrlic Guesthouse is a private house with several good quality guest rooms rather than a hostel. Possibly slightly more expensive than some alternatives but well worth the price for a big attractive bedroom and private bathroom in a very convenient central location. Being met by Mr Vrlic as we got off the ship was a bonus.

This is my first time been to Split with four other friends. I stayed in several different private apartments around Europe before but this was my best experience ever have! Vrlic is so responsive and helpful! First, they sent me an email to confirm my stay immediately after I booked through hostel world,at the same time, they arranged car to pick us up even less than 5 mins drive. During our stay, they helped us to call the other hostels to arrange our later stay in another town. They even gave us Easter Cake and Easter Eggs!Sure you will like this place.

I stayed here just one night with my daughter. We were picked up from the bus station and driven to the guesthouse. Mr Vrlic was very helpful and friendly.
